Scope of the service

UETR.io provides registered transaction lookup, event notifications, reference tools and educational material. It is not a bank or payment processor and does not hold, send, receive or release funds. Its public lookup does not query the live SWIFT gpi network.

Content and tools explain terminology and records. They do not provide a financial guarantee, authenticate a document or replace a bank’s investigation.

Reading records and examples

Amounts, banks, dates and statuses reflect information registered in the service. A “Completed” or other recorded event is not independent confirmation of submission, settlement or account credit. Verify important decisions with the responsible institution.

Examples are illustrative unless explicitly attributed otherwise. A format-valid UETR is not proof that a transaction exists. Estimates and comparison tools cannot determine the outcome of a particular payment.

Your responsibilities

  • Use references and personal information you are entitled to use.
  • Keep account credentials and signed access links private.
  • Provide an email address you control and confirm alerts only when you requested them.
  • Do not probe other users’ records, bypass access checks, scrape private data or overload the service.
  • Do not present a website screenshot as a bank-issued guarantee or alter a record to mislead someone.

Accounts, availability and misuse

A verified account does not automatically grant access to private records. Participant eligibility is checked separately. Access may be limited to protect users, investigate misuse, maintain the service or respond to applicable obligations.

Records and email delivery may be delayed or unavailable. Do not rely on the website as the sole channel for an urgent payment issue. Contact the bank directly when action is time-sensitive.

Guides, links and corrections

We aim to keep guides useful and distinguish the service’s records from bank reports. Banking procedures and third-party sources can change. External links do not mean that a bank or network endorses UETR.io.

Send a correction with the page URL through Contact. Material service or policy changes may be reflected in an updated notice. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
