Why this service exists
A payment conversation can quickly become a collection of different references, dates and screenshots. UETR.io gives a registered transaction a consistent place to display its recorded amount, banks and event history. Our guides help readers understand the terminology around those records.
The aim is practical: make it easier to identify the record you are discussing and ask the next useful question. A timeline is most valuable when its source and limits are clear.
What you can use here
- Look up a transaction registered with UETR.io using its original UETR and message date.
- Read recorded events and request email updates.
- Check a reference’s format or decode a payment-status term.
- Read explanations of payment messages, delays and confirmation documents.
The service walkthrough explains the lookup and email-confirmation steps.
A record has a source—and a limit
UETR.io does not hold, send, receive or release funds. Its lookup does not query the live SWIFT gpi network. Events describe information recorded in this service; they do not independently prove bank submission, settlement or beneficiary credit.
If your question concerns the actual movement of money, take the original reference to the responsible bank. We can help with a website problem, but cannot replace the bank’s investigation.
How we write the guides
Each guide tackles a specific question. We distinguish examples from real records, link to primary references where they matter and avoid treating a valid-looking document as proof of receipt. No guide should require you to accept an anonymous screenshot as the final word about your money.
